- Peter Oundjian premieres Krystof Maratka's "Otisk"
Maratka's "Otisk," received a successful world premiere on August 14 at Caramoor. Co-commissioned by the Caramoor International Music festival, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, additional performances took place in Colorado on October 8, 9,and 10 and the Canadian premiere took place in Toronto on November 11 and 12.

- ECCO Returns to New York
Those in the know, including the Kennedy Center, are presenting and talking about the new conductor-less orchestra
ECCO that sets off joyous sparks every time it plays. Sunday, January 9th at 2:00 pm marked their return to the historic Town Hall in New York playing Bach, Bartok, Mendelssohn, and Schoenberg’s wonderfully romantic Verklarte Nacht, which showed, once again, why they are "one of the finest ensembles of the new generation."
