Recording News Flash!
The SOUNDTRACK [many of the musical selections from the current tour] will be featured on the LAGQ’s forthcoming release from TELARC Records. The record will feature works inspired by Spanish guitar music, from Chilean folk music to Cuban jazz to a beautiful new fantasia on a theme by Rodrigo.

The members of the LAGQ have told us that they are extremely happy with the sound quality that executive producer Bob Woods has achieved for this new album, describing the sound as warm and “all about emotion.”

They were delighted with a new Cuban piece called "La Trompa" that sounds reminiscent of the bridge section in Santana's Black Magic Woman. They also added a track based on a piece from Sting's new album called "Fragile." Andy York has also contributed his latest composition written for the LAGQ.
