Grand Prize Winners of the $100,000 M-Prize Competition, Russian Renaissance performs 
“high-caliber traditional folk music through a modern lens.” Their works range from tango to Russian folk songs to Duke Ellington, creating a fun, yet soulful, approach in unique crossover and fusion styles.

Russian Renaissance has performed with the world-renowned director Emir Kusturica (the two-time laureate of Cannes Film Festival) and No Smoking Orchestra. Over the years, the ensemble has performed in the United States, Japan, Serbia, among other countries. In Russia, they have performed in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Concert Hall of the Russian Academy of Music (Gnessins), YOTASPACE, Gradsky Hall, APARTE Theater, Rostov-on-Don Youth Theater, Yaroslavl Drama Theater (Fedor Volkov), the Kursk Theater (A. S. Pushkin), among others.
